Great pitching (and some rusty defense) for both teams was the story of this game with Chris Dunn and Joe Burns both going the distance, 10 innings. The Giants scored 4 unearned runs in the 2nd inning and that was all they could muster. Chris scattered 8 hits with 9 Ks for the win against a potent Giants lineup. Most notably in the 9th inning the Giants loaded the bases with no outs when Chris struck out the next 3 Giant batters to get out of the inning unscathed. Joe Burns was equally dominant in scattering 10 hits and 6 Ks with only 1 or 2 earned runs depending on the scoring.
