What a night to open the 55 division. It was sunny and warm and no rain in sight. This was a good competitive game between the Nolan Propane Cardinals and the Americans. The final score was Cards 4 and the Americans 1.

Looking for opportunities to fill-in as needed. 45 year old, played High School ball. Have good speed and play outfield, 2B and catcher if needed. Arm is ok. Competitive player. On Saturday morning the Board of Directors met at Swift Road Park before distributing the baseballs and scorebooks to all the leagues managers.One important item that was acted upon involves a safety issue which was passed. It is now required in all Divisions that base coaches wear batting helmets...

Please note the 45s will be playing on June 25th. It is the makeup weekend the division started a few years ago. If there are no rainouts to be rescheduled, games from later in the year will be moved up to this date. Normally, at least 3 weeks notice is given as a minimum.
