(Preview)
The Cubs won two games on Sunday at New Scotland Town Park, to take sole possession of first place in the 45+ division, with just 3 games to play. In the morning contest, the Cubs just got by the winless Marlins 8-6, in a game that was well played and competitive throughout. The Marlins had a 5-1 lead after...

Bears Season Ends With A Whimper
(Preview)
After finishing their best season ever - going 6-2 in their final 8 games, the Bears were ousted from the playoffs with a 4-1 loss to the Mets. Not much to say about bad play on the Bears part because the game was very well played and the Mets earned every run they got and the pitching of Josh Mickalonis shut...

Sunday 8/14 games - All except B Diamond games a go as of now - B Diamond info to follow.
(Preview)
John Kalinski just asked me to post this. Satellite and New Scotland are bone dry and good to go and Blatnick is a go as well. No reports from C Diamond as of yet but John will be out to check and update the managers. No word of any issues or cancellation in Chatham as of right now so that is still a go as of now.

Cubs continue to roll.
(Preview)
The Cubs played probably their best game of the year, Sunday morning, against the Braves, at New Scotland Town Park. The Cubs pitching gave up just 4 singles (no 2 in any one inning), and only one of those base runners went as far as second base. Chris Dunn pitched the first 3 innings, giving up just one si...

Bears Finish Season With 9-5 Victory

The Bears took advantage of a short-staffed Team Rake last night with a 9-5 win to finish the season at 8-12. Considering the previous two seasons ended up with 1 and 2 wins respectively, 8 wins is an extremely big improvement for The Bad News Bears. The Bears compiled 11 hits (3 XBH) and took advantage o...
