Clarification
(Preview)
Just a very minor issue that needs to be clarifeied, as there has been disagreement on it a few times in the first few weeks, and it could become larger as the weather warms. It concerns the dugouts and which team gets which dugout. It has been my experience that the first team at the field lays claim to a du...

Cubs shut out Yanks 4-0 at Bob Moore.
(Preview)
It was a miracle that we got the game in, but two lines of storms stayed on either side of the field all night, and the game went on without as much as a shower. This game was a pitchers duel all of the way. The Yanks got a solid pitching performance from Dale Smith, who gave up just 3 earned runs, on 6 hits and 6 w...

Tonight's (Thursday 05/23/13) Yankees vs. Cubs game is on at Bob Moore!
(Preview)
Reports from Bob Moore are saying that it is dry enough and playable. Radar shows that the rains should stay away from "the Bob" until 9:30 pm, so the Yanks and Cubs are going to "give it a go." Game time 6:00 pm.

We jumped on the highlanders for 11 runs in the top of the 1st. They scored 3 in the bottom of the 1st and I was thinking here we go again, as we have blown a le...

Your Favorite Wood Bat
(Preview)
I know that many of you are already aware of this---but for those of you who aren't maybe you may find this helpful. If there is a particular model wood bat you used back in the day and wish you still had it, there is a pretty good chance you might find it on E-bay. For example, I have found a number of my old fav...

Bob Moore curfew from the umps
(Preview)
Hi everyone, I just got an email from Mark Fitch clarifying the curfew times at Bob Moore. Early games end at 8, even if its in the middle of a batter. Late games end at 10:30. Lights out at 10:40. I hope that clears up any curfew confusion. Joe -- Edited by NowFireYourBoss on Tuesday 21st of May 2013 08:45:...
