The Cubs completed their comeback against the Rays with a 3-1 victory on Friday night at Bob Moore in Scotia. The big story was the pitching of Steve Lounello, for the Cubs. Proud Manager
(Preview)
First off props to the Cubs on a 3-1 win tonight. They found a way to win without really hammering the ball like they usually do in games. I wanted to say how proud I am of the Rays as they fought off injuries and guys out of position to get to the semi-finals. I am very proud of this team and look forward to gett...

Probably a good idea to get to Bob Moore and get the tarps on the field.
(Preview)
If anyone is close enough, it is probably a great idea to get to Bob Moore and get the tarps on the field. The rain will most likely be there by 5:00 pm. If we get it covered for the first line of rain, we probably can get the game in after it goes past.

Facing elimination in the 35+ semi-finals against the Rays, Cubs manager Jim McQuade gave the ball to his big game pitcher, Ron Massaroni. That turned out to be a great decision! Baseballs in Cooperstown
(Preview)
Great job by the Yankees supplying some real baseballs for our (Giants/Yankees) game in Cooperstown. They weren't the Jamie Lynn Sigler bran muffin baseballs we've been using all year - these balls actually made that great "CRACK" sound when they were hit, they didn't get mushy when the...
