The managers meeting for tomorrow night is still on - back room at Sutter's 6:30 pm. They are calling for snow late tomorrow night, and Wednesday may get dicey so tomorrow looks like our better option. Let's hope I'm a little better at this prediction stuff than Bloomberg was last week. Thanks all...

Thought I'd throw it out there for any league members who may DJ, or if you know someone who does. Our banquet will be held Sat. evening March 5th. Basically a 5 hour gig, although the first couple of hours would be just playing a little background/dinner music. If interested please email me with...

following jon's, tommy's and mike's talk of music, and as a way of rescuing us from post-christmas (or dark winter) blues, i'd like to suggest you all google "paul mccartney, jimmy fallon" and watch the video of their duet, performed on a rerun last night, of the original words for "y...

Can't believe someone from the Jets sidelines personnel would jeopardize a player's professional future by sticking his knee into an unsuspecting player to gain an advantage. Many would call it cheating. Others would call it sick, disgusting and gutless. If the Jets 33-year-old strength and c...

Docs sent Mike home Sunday afternoon - in time to watch some football and relax. He has a strict diet to adhere to right now and has to walk as often as he can every day. The best news is that the pathologist's report came back and the cancer didn't spread to the lympnodes or any other parts of his body. The...

For all you older baseball guys out there - I encourage you to read the obit (at the link below) in the Times-Union for Waldo "Wally" Lozano who passed away this past Monday. Many of you played ball with or did sports equipment business with him over the years and he epitomized the kind of ball...
