the great c--o--c--k--l--e conspiracy

ladies and gentlemen:

little did i think that the use of this great old english word, dating back
to the 11th century, would offend the website's built-in censor.

but at least it gave me a chance to look up the definition of
this bivalve-inspired word. (imagine if we had to say
"warm our bivalves"? it wouldn't be the same.)

so here, thanks to mr.webster, is the definition of
that word. personally, i think it was the third one that
did it in:

C--O--C--K--L--E:

1: any of various chiefly marine bivalve mollusks (family Cardiidae) having a shell with convex radially ribbed valves; especially : a common edible European bivalve (Cerastoderma edule syn. Cardium edule)

2: any of several weedy plants of the pink family; especially : corn ****le

3: an annual hairy weed (Agrostemma githago) of the pink family with purplish-red flowers that is found in grain fields

Isn't that part of an old Irish song

She wheeled a wheel barrel through streets long and narrow
singing * * * * les and mussels alive alive oh...

It's sounds alot better sung in Spanish with a five piece Mariachi band in the bachground...
