The 38 Pirates are recruiting 3 new players due to a loss of several players, primarily in response to family commitments. For those of you who do not know us, we are a cohesive group who have a great time playing in the league since 2001. Our primary focus is to enjoy baseball, respecting each other and the teams, umpires and spectators. We finished in 4th place last year out of 12 teams, improving our record each year since our inception. We are planning to continue our level of quality in the league and need a few more teamates in order to realize our goals for the year. Bob, My name is Mike Eplite, I played for the 47 and over Yankees, plus, played 3 games with the 38 and over Reds. I believe I played against you at the Ravena field. In that game, I was the catcher, and I believe, we won that game 2-0. I'm not really sure what team I'll play with, for the 38's. There are currently, a few other teams I'm thinking about, but nothing is etched in stone. I hit .517 with the Yankees, and have excellent catching skills. Also, can play 3rd, and the OF.
