The Nationals behind solid 3 hit pitching from Jim Ansel, Bobby Poulin and Dave Aumand came from behind to defeat Jim Shook and the defending champ Yankees on Opening Day. Alan Pennick chipped in going 2-2 with an RBI. Jim Shook was his usual dominating self registering 15 K's. It was a big win for the Nats considering they are notorious for their slow starts. It was nice to get back on the field again. Good luck to all the teams in the CDMSBL.
