White Sox 10 Peppers 6

The White Sox beat the Peppers 10- 6 at bethlehem. Mark Johnson pitched 4 strong innings, To earn his second victory of the season, giving up just two unearned runs. Vince Kostar pitched two shutout innings and Rick Caruso pitched the 7th to gain a save. Bob Noto had a big game at the plate with 3 hits. Good job White Sox on a great Team victory.

Bob Noto - We're glad to see you back in the league. I knew it wouldn't take you long to start ripping the ball again. I was just kidding when I said you should try to immediately beat your personal record of 10 hits in a row when you were with the Bluejays. I thought you might take a couple of more weeks to go for it. Good to see you, Bob.

Congratulations to the White Sox on the W. Peppers - with a couple of more hits at the right time, you would have tightened up the score.

Mike Kravitz

Great game all around last night. Mike Hart always puts a great bunch of guys on the field! Plenty of individual highlights: Rodney Dunbar, double and 2 RBI's, Mark Dolan, 2 for 4, Bob Noto is swinging a great bat right now, Read Shepherd, 3 for 4, double and 2 RBI's, Fred Phillips, RBI, and D-Mac taking charge on the bases as only he can!
