In a see-saw affair, the Highlanders edged the Humminbirds 11-9 on Tuesday at Bethlehem. The score was tied 2-2 after three innings and then the Humminbirds scored four runs in the top of the fourth and two in the top of the fifth. The Highlanders answered with 6 in the bottom of the fifth and the Humminbirds responded with one in the top of the sixth. The Highlanders pushed across three in the bottom of the sixth and were able to hold on as the final out in the top of the seventh was made on a long fly to left field with the tying runs on second and third.
