Sctia Middle school Field

I play for the White Soxs and we have played two game at the Scotia Middle School. I really think someone will end up breaking there leg there on those bases. We had aleast 3 people twist there ankles last night. The Bases are placed over holes and if you hit them right your ankle twist. Could someone please look into getting them fix before someone gets hurt. Now on the White Soxs win. Once again we played a Very good game. We had a big lead going into the 6th inning we made a few mistakes and let the Cubs jump right back into the game but once again we came together and hung on. We now have the same amount of wins that we had all last year. Way to go TEAM. I would also like to take time to Thank Ralph for the uniforms he bought for our team, its nice to look like a real team. THANKS RALPH !!

Rick congrats on your win. about the bases, I was able to get the field for us , but the school will not give us their bases, so I got what I could for the field, if you have good ones, then please get with me and we can use them from now on. I hope all players are ok.
Thanks,

The field is dangerous. It is not just the bases. The bases are fine. It is the BIG hole that the baes sit in that are dangerous. Second base cannot be tied down. Third base sits two inches off of the ground. The drop from the infield to the outfield has to be at least two feet. This is a dangerous field to be playing on. There was a pop -up behind third base that should have been caught last night by the Cubs. Both the third baseman and the shortstop fell when they hit the two foot dropoff from the infield to the outfield. When you sit in the dugout and look to the outfields, all you can see are the outfielders upper bodies. That is how drastic the dropoff is. This is not a time for the players in our league to get all defensive about this field because they are the ones who got this field available to the league. Someone is going to get SERIOUSLY hurt on this field unless something is done to either improve the conditions or eliminate this field as a league field. If I hurt anyones' feelings then I apologize, but I am 51 years old and have been in this league a long time and can truthfully say this is THE WORST FIELD I have played on.
