Highlanders 9 - Cubs 6 - Bethlehem 5/29/07

The Highlanders scored 1 in the top of the 1st with the Cubs answering that run in the bottom of the inning.

In the bottom of the 2nd, the Cubs went up 2-1

But the Highlanders came back in the 3rd with 3 runs to make it 4-2.

Cubs then evened the score in the bottom of the 3rd to make it 4-all.

Highlanders came back with one more in the top of the 4th.

Cubs tied it up again in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-5.

But the fifth inning would prove to be the deciding inning when the Highlanders plated 4 and the Cubs responded with only 1.

Highlights:
Highlanders:
John Kalinski was a one man wrecking machine Tuesday night; pitching a complete game win for the Highlanders and having a perfect night at the plate where he went 3 for 3 with a walk, two doubles, two RBIs and 3 runs.

Wood?? Absolutely launched a ball into orbit that were still waiting to come down.

Cubs:
Mike LaCouture pitched very well, scoring 3 runs of his own, had a pair of hits, 2 stolen bases, and came up big when the Cubs really needed it on a flawlessly executed hit and run with Jose Moreno.

Rosello broke out of his hitting funk in style with an RBI triple.
