With the threat of rain on Sat night , it held off long enough for the Met's to get back on the winning track with a 8-4 victory over a good pesky Pepper's team. Joe Seerubi, who I have never met before picthed a good game in Defeat, and Eric Samarja formerly of the 28 A's came for relief, and he will help them the rest of the way. Maynard went 3-3, and picthed a complete game to run his record to 2-0 on the season. He struggled in the 1st 2 ininngs and gave up 3 runs, but shut them down after that. I wanted to add that Mark Meyers caught two great games on fri and Sat and had 6 pop outs to the catcher all over the big backdrop of Suny on both games.
