A beautiful night for Baseball, and both teams came out to play. I want to congratrulate the Whitesox, as they are not the Fordians. They played tough defense, pitched well, and definitely have good team chemistry. Over all it was a great game, and the Met's came out on top by a final score of 6-5. Lex Herrlett ran his ecord to 2-0 with 5 strong innings and DAN Maynard pitched the last 2 for a Braden Looper type save. We ended the game with the whitesox having the bases loaded and 2 outs. At the plate Dan Maynard was 2-2 with a walk and a stolen base. Tommy Smith went 2-3 as well as Lex Herrlett went 2-3.For the Fordians Fred Phillips went 2-2 with a sac fly and Read went 3-3, and Mark Johnson stayed strong in defeat for 7 ininngs.
