On a night when few thought we would be playing a baseball game to due to the weather in the area, the Met's beat the Shasky's by a score of 14-2. Newcomer Jim Jansen pitched for the first time and held the Shaskys to 3 hits over 5 inings and I pitched the 6th before the game got called. Dan Maynard led the hitting going 2-4, Rick Guyer got 2 hits, Mike Hempele had 2 hits, and I had 1 and walk. The Shaskys played hard and never got down. I wish you the best as the year goes on.
