You might have thought we were at Wrigley Field last night instead of UAlbany. The players on the left side not only had the sun but wind as well. Kevin Jackson faced off against Joe Burns and it was the Highlanders getting off to a rapid start with 5 hits and 3 runs in the first with the Reds only managing 1 hit. The game was back and forth through the first 3 innings with the Highlanders on top 5-3. It was not until the 4th when the Reds got to Kevin scoring 5 runs and maintain the lead through out. There were multiple hits in this game with 8 extra base hits. The Highlanders had Jackson, Kalinski, Friedman, and Stroud all having multi hits in the game. Nice job!
Joe Burns went the distance for the Reds with 7 k's and 3 walks. Jeff Dovigh and Dave Muller led the hitting. The Reds travel to Bob Moore on Monday to face the Cubs
