after the vets-cougars' 2:30 game on sunday at new scotland, two vets - rick loffredo and i - lost bats. we're trying to find if perhaps they were packed in the team bag or if someone from one of the other teams who followed us may have picked them up.
anyway, the 47 yankees were on our side of the field in the next game playing the thunder.
if anybody found either a 33" derek jeter louisville slugger or a 32" inch black easton with gold markings and white tape, would you send me a note at mhart2@nycap.rr.com?
i'll be glad to pick them up if you found them.
it's like chasing a lost sheep going after a bat. can't let it go.
Mike, I believe, Donnie Wixon has it. After out game, we saw the bat you described. One of the Blue Thunder players, brought it to Paul Celantanos vehicle, where 4 of us were talking. after our Yankee/Blue Thunder game.
thanks to mike, don & don (don dunham sent me a note at home), all of you for pointing me in the right direction - and to paul celentano for saving the lumber for me.
Mike, John Reel saved me, as he found my glove, after I left it at the Annex field. I had that glove for 16 years. Anything to help a fellow player, of our Mens league. WE are in it TOGETHER !!!! US old farts !!!
