I have finally made the connection, as far as using the Rotterdam Memorial Park, for our 47's league playoffs. Town Supervisor, Steven Tommasone, called me today, and is reaching out to our league, trying to assist us in making arrangements, for using that field, which by the way, has lights. I sent out an e mail to Supervisor Tommasone, just yesterday, and he called me back this afternoon (Thurs.), and stated he would do everything in his power, to get that field for us, to use in our playoffs, and possibly, a game or two, at the end of this regular season. My living in Rotterdam, for many years, in addition to playing on that field, in HS (Draper HS), along with coaching t-ball, right up to connie mack, in the town of Rotterdam, possibly helped the situation, which is just GREAT for OUR league. I will keep Chuck Stanley, and John Reel, up to date when I hear back from Supervisor Tommasone. It's been over a year, that I have been trying to land this field for us. Also, the Babe Ruth field, may be a possibility for the playoffs, which would really be nice, since it's located, just 1,000 feet from the Memorial Park field. Chuck/John, I'll contact you, as soon as I hear back from Steve Tommasone. It's good to have change, and playing with lights, if needed would be a plus for us.
