Another beautiful night for baseball in Rotterdam last night, and the Orioles hung on for a 3-2 victory. This was a great series and the expansion Mets gave the Orioles everything they could throw at them. Lex Herrlett and Bobby Bolt both threw exceptional games and neither deserved to lose. Alot of exceptional defense was played by both teams and these are the type of games the playoffs were designed for. Good luck to all still involved and see ya next year Orioles. To all the Mets, thanks for a great season and I so look forwards to next year already. Jim Bonaparte Mets 12-11 final record
Hey Boner, I also want to congratulate you on a great first season. The growing pains of a first season are not fun, but you put together a great line-up for your freshman season. You accomplished some things that a lot of other teams, that have been around for a lot longer, could not do (namely beating the Silvers). We look forward to seeing what improvements you might make to that line-up in the off-season. Congrats!
Hey Mike and Artie, thanks for the kind words. Mike I always love to face you as this goes back alonggggggggggg way from the time of the flintstones when we were kids in latham. Good luck in the playoffs and we'll see ya again next year a couple of times. I do have some plans in the works, and one is strike you out.
