Due to a couple of late cancellations, the Albany Marlins are a couple of players short for the team going to Florida for the Fall Classic. Here is what we need: a catcher, an outfielder, and a pitcher or two. Pitchers or catchers who can play other positions are especially sought after.
The tournament is held in and around the Tampa-Clearwater-St.Petersburg area in Florida. The tourney starts Thursday 11/1 and runs through Sunday 11/4. Airfare is approximately $200 round trip and we have a couple of players willing to share rooms to help limit the cost of the trip. Anyone interested should call Mike Girard asap @ 371-7493.
