Yankee tickets ...

I'm actually looking to get two tickets to any Yankee game this season.
My uncle in Pa. is turning 80 on July 4, and while he is still very healthy, I'd love to take him to a Yankee game. He's been a die-hard Yanks fan since he was a kid in Albany. And he's never been to "The Stadium.''

If anyone has a contact or access to tix, I'd be forever grateful.
Thanx.
Jim Konstantakis

www.yankees.com GO TO THE YANKEES WEBSITE, TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE. I AM GOING THIS SAT. 4/5.I JUST LOOKED AT APRIL 5 AND THERE WERE TICKETS FROM $14 T0 $325 EACH. THAT IS THE BEST PLACE. YOU CAN SEARCH YANKEE TICKETS AND GO TO THE PRIVATE SITES WHICH YOU WIL BE ABLE TO GET WHAT YOU WANT BUT PAY MUCH MORE , I HAVE DONE THAT ALSO IN THE PAST. GOOD LUCK

Jim, My wife and I go to 3-4 games a year. We get our tix at stubbhub.com These are people with season tix, that sell the games they cannot use. Give it a try.

Defintely StubHub.com is the way to go. They are legal and very reliable. You will have a great understanding of what you are getting. The tickets come quickly and reliably. To get to the stdium, I highly recommend driving to Poughkeepsie, taking the Metro North Train which takes you into Grand Central (as opposed to Amtrak which is more expensive and goes to Penn Station). From here take the Subway to the game and enjoy the heck out of it! Paul

Thanx Paul.
I usually get the train at Croton-on-Hudson. then it's only $14 round trip to GC.

I've looked at stubbhub, but don't see any real good seats.
I'm told people turn in tix all the time and sell them on stubhub, so I'll keep checking.

Thanx again.
Jim

Excellent ideal Paul, but if you want to save 45 minutes - get off the Metro North @ 125th St. Walk one block East (toward Triboro Bridge) and you can catch the Uptown 4 train. Three stops and you're there. We've done this a variety of times day & night.
