there will be a 55 and over division this year with 4 teams and a 9-game schedule, no playoffs. I believe there will be age waivers. Ask John Reel. He's the commissioner.
its 52 and up , turning 52 by Dec. 31 2008. next year we'll be 53+...and so on tll we reach 55+. this was done so we could have a viable start to the new div. with 4 teams.
we will start on June 9th & play our entire schedule at the New Scotland field . the season will end the second week in Aug. and each team will play nine games once per week . the rules are similar to the 46+ div. but we will use a time limit mercy rule of 10 runs and 5 innings. the champion being the best record.
the schedule will be complete soon. in all likleyhood we will play each week on Monday and Tuesday . I am waiting for the 37 + schedule to eliminate those player conflcts I know of . I'm talking in a few days.
