Jim Dalton, Manager of White Sox here....we are scheduled to play the Shaskys on Monday at 6pm at New Scotland.....unfortunately, after (4) players lost to free agency, (1) to Iraq, and (1) to retirement, despite reloading the roster with new players, I am in need of players for Monday 5/5 at 6pm at New Scotland vs. the Shaskys.....complicating the completion of a full line-up is that 4 of our players are umpires, working one of the busiest days of the high school season, and 2 are coaches at the high school level......14 roster players minus 6, plus one more leaves me at 7 players......if you can help, please call me at 331-3449....thanks...Jim Dalton
Thanks to all who responded...as it worked out, we only had one slot to fill, and picked up the 1st "W" of the season in a 6-1 victory over the Shaskys.....Mick Novak threw a gem in going the distance, and Tommy Smith was the hitting hero going yard! Jim D.
