On a very cold night in Burnt hills the Mets came out on top 10-1 against a very motivated Sox team. The Mets jumped ahead 9-0 after 1 bringing 13 batters to the plate. The game was called due to Darkness in the bottom of the 6th with 2 outs where the score reverted back to 5 complete. This after the sox had plated 4 in the top of the 6th. Leading the Mets attack was Dan Maynard 2-3, Eric Duemler 2-3, Lex Herrlett 2 walks and a single, Rick Guyer with a long Double to the wall in left, and Bonaparte with a single and a hbp. For the Sox, Novak with a single and Rick Koster with a Double. Dan Maynard grabs the pitching victory to go 1-0 and he had 6 ks in 3 offical innings. Good luck to the sox the rest of the way, as they are much improved and will get there share of victories.
