Giants won on Tuesday and lost Friday.
On Tuesday, an 11-run third led to a 16-0 lead after 4 before the Highlanders struck for 4 in the 5th, 3 in the 6th and 1 in the 7th.

On Friday, Chuck Sohl pitched a great game and had a double and single to lead the Marlins. They scored 7 times in the 6th to put it away.

The Giants got just 6 hits. Phil Gadomski had two hits, a walk and pitched the final two innings for the Marlins.

This Giants team is loaded with sticks!!! They show two losses in the standings, but make no mistakes, this team will finish the year in the top 5! Chuck Sohl and Phil Gadomski scattered five hits through six innings, as the Silver Marlins staff has yet to give up an official earned run in three games. An amazing job by a staff that lost Jim Ansel and Jim Latorre in the off-season. These two were supported by twelve hits in six innings, led by Chuck Sohl's three hits and Dave Mitchell and Mike Girard each with three RBI's.

Things aren't bad enough for me as it is. Now, I have to come out of retirement to hide the fact that you are doing better without me. I'll call my surgeon and see what he suggests. He loves the baseball discussion.

Way to go, Marlins.
