Sunday noon the Black Sox took to the field, coming off two losses. On the mound for the Sox was Joe Sarubbi, and his counter for the Dodgers was Brett Conlin, both very capable pitchers. When all was said and done Conlin had a good outing but Sarubbi had a dominating one. Joe threw a shutout and K'd 12 Dodgers with an assortment of fastballs, sliders and a curve or two along the way. Final 5-0. Conlin had 2 of the Dodgers 3 hits. For the Sox Sarubbi had 3 hits, Musella 3 hits, a couple of runs and a couple of rbi, and Meyers had 2 hits. The game took only about 1 and 1/2 hours to play.
Sarubbi's GNA should be tested. There's got to be traces of HGH in there somewhere! The Dodgers are a very solid team. What a phenominal ballplayer. And a heckuva guy, too. Nice job Joey. Keep running those miles. JimK
