On Sat at New Scotland, the Cubs beat the Mets by the score of 10-3 that was 1-0 going in to the 6th. Tom Sheperdson and Ted Martin were the pitchers for the cubs that held us at bay all day. Danny Maynard took the loss for us. Dan Ryan had a good day at the plate for the Cubs.. Lex herrlett for us went 3-3 and we did not hit as a team until the 7th when we put a few hits together.
