"The A's ran their winning streak to 4 and their record to 10-6, posting a 6-2 win over the Braves Monday night at Bob Moore in Scotia. The Braves jumped out to a 2-0 lead in their half of the first. The A's quickly tied the game in the bottom of the first with 4 straight one-out hits. Jeff Kruzinski held the Braves to 1 hit over the final five innings of relief to raise his record to 6-0 while lowering his era to 1.00. Wayne Newcomb led a 10-hit attack with 2 singles. Ed Class had a single and 2 rbi's. Also getting a hit were K. Golden, J. Kruzinski, S. Travis, L. Mawery, G. Schillinger, A. Marin, and D. Schillinger."
