Humminbirds 14 - Highlanders 1

Humminbirds 8 - Highlanders 0 (game stopped in bottom of 6th due to rain)

Not much to say from the Highlander perspective except we didn't give them any competition. As one of our players stated last night, "it was a death by a 1,000 cuts". Humminbirds took advantage of every walk and error.

I don't have the scorebook, so I don't specific details. The "Marist" pitcher, (sorry, I don't know his name, pitched five innings in game one giving up one unearned run. Another pitcher, I don't know his name, pitched the last two innings.

Last night, John LaTorre, pitched a shut out, scattering seven hits, I think (Jackson 2-2, double/single, Kalinski 2-2, two singles, C. Rebuhn 2-2, two singles.

I don't know how many hits he had, but Ron Coon crushed the ball every at-bat for the Humminbirds.

Yes, it would be nice to have the 'Birds games posted - the scores at the very least.
All I know is theat the 'Birds swept the Highlanders, somewhat easily as I was told.
