Just so you know I created a spot on the new site that is call Free Agent Pool.
What I will do is put any info about a player who is looking for a team on the site. When they call or email me I will get their name, number, email address, age and positions played. If you are looking for guys please fee free to contact them.
I have been having to many guys in the 25 division contact me looking for a roster to jump on and guys are calling me back asking why hasnt anyone picked me up or why are the managers being jerks saying that if I dont pitch 90 or I didnt play college baseball then they dont want me.
Please help me out with this matter and contact anyone on the Free Agent Pool and give them a chance you never know when you will find a stud.
Hey what happens if these guys don't hook up, would the league put together a team just so these guys can at least play...something like when the NL ran the Nationals before they had an owner...
I am also concerned at the comment of the managers' "response" to these guys...not customer friendly...
If you get into a bind I would be interested in "Steering" this team if it came down to turning people away and I'm sure there are others who feel the same way...
That could be an option. Most of the people I talk to are very nice and just want a place to play. This is a good way for managers who need help recruiting to acquire some players without having to do much work.
