From the main entrance on Western Ave, take the right turn onto the circle as though you're going to the field. Pass the field, and take the first right which leads to a parking lot for a building there. You can walk from there through the centerfield fence onto the field, it's not as bad as it sounds . Bring a rake . The field is like baked clay , everyone who slid got scraped up. Terrible shape relative to what we pay for it .
Last year I was ticketed in that very same parking lot. Beware of where you park at SUNY. They don't care how much we are paying for the fields. Park in the wrong spot and they will nail you.
This thread is indicative of a larger problem here: we need to DUMP SUNY like a hot rock. THat field is WAY too expensive for the field conditions we get every time we play there.
