Hornets 9 Black Sox 3, Blue Thunder 5, Hornets 3

The Hornets played a DH on Sunday winning the first game 9-3 over the Black Sox, Chris Abrams picked up the win.

In the nightcap the Blue Thunder rode the right arm of Ted Martin to a 5-3 win. Bob Bolt was tha hard luck losing pitcher for the Hornets.

Hornets are now 5-2 and trail the first place Blue Thunder (5-1) by a half game.

The Hornets took us to the woodshed. I was hoping we might find some bats there, but we didn't thanks to the combo of Abrams and Luonello. Dick I've got that you scored 10 against us, 5 in the fourth, 1 in the fifth and 4 in the sixth. See you down the road.
