We have a serious chance of having 3 teams finish at 12-7-1. If the Hummnbirds beat the Silver Marlins tonight, there will be the Cubs, Mets, and Marlins would all have identical 12-7-1 records. How would that be seeded?
Hopefully the Marlins will prevail this evening and the subject will be moot, but I would like to know, since it is a 50-50 chance that it will happen.
I searched the 35+ rules and the national site - nada.
Typically a two way tie is decided by head-to-head, however a three way tie is decided by record vs. common opponents. Not quoting that from anywhere, but that has been my experience.
I will check with Kevin and we should have an answer in about 24 hours.
