Fall Workouts at New Scotland

John/Kevin,
Would we be able to utilize New Scotland for fall pick up games, workouts for preparing 52 over club playing in the Florida Classic in Nov (16-21). Would like to get permission to used that facility, starting directly after the 45 playoffs are concluded.
Donnie Wixon will be managing the Florida Club. Would request Sunday am, or even some Saturdays upon availability.
Also, we are looking for a few pitchers that would be interested in playing, has to be 52 yrs. of age.
Last years club did not have much success, losing all 5 contests, though we did score runs, but lack of pitching depth really hurt us. Would like to make a better showing this year. Our positional guys will be very good.
It's been stated that the 52's are not much dfferent from the 45's down in Florida. It's the pitching that is the difference, by just talking to all of the other teams that compete on a yearly basis.
We have a good bunch of guys on this club, so it should be a most enjoyable tournament.
Please contact Steve Vangelder 527-2540, or Don Wixon @ 928-8662.

Do these fall workouts have to be limited to just the 45 and 55 divisions or can some of the younger guys be involved?

Let me know

Thanks

Let's go with everyone Quentin, we don't discriminate!!! Spread the word. Can choose teams, and not let the younger pitchers throw to the old folks!!!!
We can probably have a good turnout each weekend I would gather. Are any of the younger divisions heading to Florida?
I"ve heard the 18's are putting a team together, but nothing on the 25's or 45's, that I'm aware of.
