Cloudy and damp night but the Orioles and Fordians managed to play a game last night albeit a 6 inning one. Nice new field to play on in Waterford courtesy of Jim Dalton. The shape of the field and the way it drains was the main reason we were able to get this one in. Now on to the game.
Orioles ran their record to 3-1 with a 13-2 win over the Fordians. Bob Bolt and John Pologa scattered 5 hits and the Orioles pounded out 19. Once again Mario Arduini was the hitting star with three hits and 4 rbi. Mario has 9 hits and 9 ribbies in the O's first four games. Mike Kravitz, Tony Nardacci and Dick Stark also had three hits each with Bob Bolt and John Pologa chipping in with two each.
