Very Proud of my Team Mates!

The Golden Marlins played a very poor game Tuesday night against the A's in a very important playoff game, and as a result, had to play a double header against two tough 45+ teams just to make it to the semi's!
Well they responded like true defending champions! Two tough teams and two "ten run rule" victories.
In the first game, the Marlins bats roughed up Ed Rodgers of the Dodgers who had been one of the league's stingiest pitchers all year. Ron Lochner led the way with 4 RBI's. Jim Ansel and TJ Scorsone limitted the Dodgers offense to just one run.
In the second game, the Marlins hitters had to face Joey Burns who had just shut out the Black Sox and was one of the best pitchers in the 35+ and 45+ divisions. The bats were still ringing and the Marlins chased Joey early. Pete Westfall was dominant on the hill for the Fish, allowing just one unearned run in the first inning.
This is the kind of baseball I am used to seeing out of this bunch when playoff time is here. I am extremely proud to be a part of this team!
John Latorre is ready to go in game one against the Hornets in the semi-finals, which will mean a tough day for the Hornets line-up. Watch out for hungry Marlins!
