Rich Garabino started for the Thunder, and got the win. Jim H. was 4-4 with 3 runs scored.
For DaBums, Ed Rogers started and was hung with the loss, although he pitched well, giving up 8 earned runs, striking out 5 and only walking one batter. in addition to getting a hit, and scoring 2 runs
Mike Beehner singled, doubled and walked, and scored twice.
Speaking for everyone on Da Bums, it's nice to finally be playing.
Jim although the score was lopsided , the enthusiasm for the game was evident from your players and the fans watching. I appreciate all the hard work to get this team off the ground and looking great in the new unifroms. Welcome to the league. I'm sure after a few games you guys will be on the otehr side of those scores.
