Under the threatening skies of SUNY (slight downpour in the 4th) the Veterans started off their 2005 season with a convincing 12-0 shut out over the Blue Thunder. With the great pitching from three Veterans, Blue Thunder was held in check to just four hits over seven innings. Fine job done by the Veterans. Veterans now 1-0 and Blue Thunder falls to 1-2.
