Hey Mike, will there be a winter practice schedule at All Stars this year? Last year with you at the helm, not only was it always a great practice, but some of the league greats came around and kinda picked up the confidence level of all us new guys.
but, sorry, can't do it this year. despite being "retired," i'm busier than last year, with an unpredictable schedule. i will make all-stars from time to time and if i see you there, we can rent a tunnel and do a little bp.
or maybe you or someone else from last year's group would like to pick up the ball and run with it? don't know this year's fees, but last year, tunnels rented for $20 an hour and the diamond was $140. last year, i phoned donna serbalik to set up the hour-long practices every other week. she opened an hour early, at 2 p.m., to accommodate us.
the good thing about all-stars is that while the group was fun - it allowed us to rent the diamond and do infield drills and bp - you and just one other person can get a lot done in the tunnels.
