My company, Adirondack Records Management, is looking to hire one or two new drivers. Please contact my office at 465-3377 if you or someone you know is interested in either of the following job descriptions.
The first position involves using a mini-van to deliver bundles and/or cartons of files to offices in Albany, Troy, Schenectady, Latham and surrounding areas. The daily delivery route takes between 5 and 6 hours per day. Depending on physical capabilities, approximately 2 to 3 hours per day would be spent performing warehouse duties. Overall the weekly schedule could range from 25 to 40 hours.
The second position is more physically demanding and requires driving a 14 foot straight truck. The territory for this position includes the Capital Region as well as Amsterdam and Hudson. Duties include picking up large amounts of cartons weighing between 25 and 50 pounds, handling paper bins weighing up to 300 pounds and similar warehouse duties. The position requires a clean NYS license; it does not require a CDL.
My company has been in business for over twelve years and these are very stable positions. The only drawback is that you would have me as a boss!
For some people driving straight is hard enough, just ask Dwight Gooden...What a wasted talent. And he had his 5 year old son in the car. And the Yankees are going to put him in their HOF. That is what is wrong with the world...
Hope everyone is stocking up on their preventive measures for injuries...let's all have a great season...
