There was some confusion in one of our games recently regarding the new sliding rule.

Where can I find the new rule clearly spelled out?

Every manager should have an MSBL/MABL scorebook.
The rules begin on page 6.
On Page 7, look to the right column under c. Decoy rule; and d. Forced play slide rule.
Our rule is the same, but in addition, the slide rule is not just on force plays. A player stealing a base must adhere to the same rules.

what if i start sliding right out of the batters box and just go all the way around the bases like that?

Pete If you do it with malicious intent, and I think you might, you'd be out at first. thrown out of the game at second , issued a COC violation at third and receive a ten game suspension at home.....and your sliding pants would be severely damaged. but if i was playing against you I'd look the other way. for many reasons.

Petey sliding around the bases would create a galaxy of stars and planets...you may even see Uranus
