Fun game that got a bit intense at times, but the Giants held on for a 5-2 win over the Yankees at the Satellite field.
Rick Hackenburg pitched a whale of a game for the Yanks, but the Giants used three pitchers to stop the Yanks who stranded 10 runners.
For the Yanks, Royka (don't have first name) had a single and double and drove in two runs while ??? Moscovic and ??? Bryant had three hits each to account for 8 of the team's 10 hits.
The Giants were led by Steve Lounello, who was hit by a pitch, singled, tripled and scored twice. Mike Kane picked up the victory for the Giants in relief of Jim Konstantakis, who left after three innings with the score tied at 2. Lounello came on in the 7th for the save.
Giants next have the deeply talented Black Sox at 6 p.m. Tuesday at New Scotland. JimK
