The Golden Marlins had their hitting shoes on in the late game at New Scotland Sunday, as they pounded out 13 hits in 5 innings, to beat the Dodgers 12-0. The Fish were led by Tom Maney's double, single, walk, and 3 RBI's. The Fish also got a double, single, and two RBI's from Randy Craft. Mike Girard, Jim McQuade, and John Reel added two hits each for the Goldens. Meanwhile, Chuck Sohl was busy scattering five hits in recording his second shutout in a row. Chuck has now shut out the first place Giants and the second place Dodgers in back-to-back outings. Chuck walked 1 and struck out 2, and induced 2 double plays that erased 2 of the 6 batters that reached base safely. Brett Conlin got the only extra base hit of the game for the Dodgers, when he doubled to lead off the third inning.
