The Senators improved their record to 8 -7 while winning their 5th game in a row Sunday morning by beating the Black Sox 10 - 2 at New Scotland. Joe Burns and Chuck Handford each had 2 hits and 2 RBI for the Senators, While Caputo and Noto each had 2 hits for the Sox. Ron Collins got the win, going the distance and scattering 8 hits, while Greg Hoine took the loss. Dave VanWormer
A tough team those Senators, with hitters up and down the line-up. Collins kept us off balance the entire game. We split our games this year and perhaps will meet in the playoffs.
