Clifton Commons will host the 35 finals this Tuesday and Wednesday, with Game 3 Friday if necessary. Game times are 6:00.
These teams have a long history of competing in the 25 division, and now have taken the rivalry to the 35's. It shakes out to be a very competitve series.
Rob - How about a preview of the series - similar to what you did in the prelim rounds.
By the way, Vegas has installed the Orioles as the early- line favorites at 7-5. However, the off-shore casinos, not quite as confident - 6-5 Birds.
This will prove to be a great series. Both just played tough semi series games against younger newer and certainly powerful franchises. And it doesn't get easier for these team this week. Throw out those stats Rob. this one always boils down to the spirit of a cross town rivalry. Orioles know the 35 playoffs and have one championship in 07, but have four other appearances in the last 5 years including last year tough loss to the Mets. the Cubs in their rookie 35 season won two years ago against the Giants (now Outlaws) . but the Cubs ain't rookies and you have to acknowledge the power of manager Jim McQuade's knack of getting it done with a 25+ division record 4 championships. good luck to all. Be a good one to see from a box seat lawn chair with bug spray. Only don't bring a cooler. Park Patrol will hunt you down. and it ain't cheap. see you out there. jreel silver marlins 98-09.
I put in 2-1/2 hours in last night and 3-1/2 hours (was out there at 6:30am) this morning on the steel pole field because I didn't see this post until I was done. You can't now give that to the 18+ guys, who did nothing to get it ready. Not only did I go solo for 6 hours on getting that field ready, but I also picked up both dugouts (they were both filled with trash, even though there are 55-gallon garbage cans just outside both dugouts). Couldn't you put the kids on the wood field, or put them on the steel field after we are done (their game isn't scheduled until 7:30pm anyway). If it was up to their efforts, they wouldn't be playing on the steel field tonight anyway. It was under water all over last night, and it wasn't going to be ready without the work last night and this morning.
Please call me to discuss. (cell: 441-1044)

Thanks Q, and a special thanks to all of the 18+ guys for not complaining about having their game moved back an hour. The 35+ guys really appreciate the chance to play on a field with quality lighting when the game means so much. The cooperation showed by all was inspiring. For those that complain about the way this league is run, this was a shining example of just how wrong they are!
