After an intense 8 game Saturday that saw the Senators and Golden Marlins secure semi final status and two other teams bow out, we now proceed to the "win and move on" portion of these unique playoffs. the 9AM game (that's right 9AM ) features the ever tough Yankees who lost in their initial game today, 1-2, to the Marlins but bounce back to defeat the Thunder in the late innings.....versus the original 6th seeded Vets who lost to the Dodgers and then run ruled the Cyclones. The noon match-up has the 4th seed Sox up against the Dodgers. After a wild 7th inning loss the Sox are looking to get back on the field soon. The 2nd seeded Dodgers ran out of steam in their second game with the surging Senators but must re-group quickly to get by the Sox. The survivors of these two contests will then meet at 3PM in perhaps the toughest game to play in our entire season. Depth, endurance, and team spirit will help the winner prevail. I know I'll be there to see these two teams go at it. all three are at New Scotland. Survivor stands to play another day...next week in the semis. good luck Vets, Dodgers, Yankees, and Sox. jreel 45 comm.
