Two teams converged on the 'A' Diamond Sunday, who played the game as baseball is always played, with commitment, drive and fun. Behind seven strikeouts and the five hit pitching of Dennis Pierce, the Whiz Kidz won the game 10-3. The Whiz Kidz spread out the win with 7 players having hits and 8 players scoring runs. Blue Thunder was led once again by the fine pitching of Kevin McDonald and the hitting of Pete Gennillis who had a two run single in the fifth. The Whiz Kidz now have won 5 in a row and improved to 7-4 as the Thunder had there winning streak halted at 1 fell to 4-8.
