What was the minimum number of plate appearances set at in order to be eligible for the batting title in the 45+ division.
I know that we used 45 plate appearances as the number in the 35+ division.
That was based on 3 PA per game in 75% of your teams games (15).
Using that same formula: We would come up with 3 x 12.75 = 38.25
Round that to the nearest whole number, and we get 38 plate appearances.
Is that the number we are going to use?

Mike - I read 35 ...... no way to disqualify Ralph so you are #2!

Congrats on a great year!

And..... congrats to Ralph Caputo on the batting title..... .543 is quite an accomplishment!

Ralphie,
Great job in winning the batting title. That day when you played 2 (Marlins/Thunder), everything was perfect, fielding, hitting, etc.
Have a good time in Florida, look's like the 52 club will compete much better than that last few year's, looking at the squad.
Again, great year Ralphie.

Ralph and John,
You silly bastards.
I went to the website yesterday and saw Bobby Bolt's name at the top of the statistics for batting average, and wanted to make sure that someone who played in only 9 of his team's games didn't steal the trophy that you so richly deserve (nothing personal, Bob). I have now seen the official statement from the Commissioner announcing you as the batting champion for 2010 and I couldn't be happier.
Boy did you guys take that the wrong way!
Congrats Ralph! See you in March at the awards banquet!!!

Hey Mike, you dope,
I knew Bobbie Bolt was having his usual amazing season along with you and Ronnie, not to mention Curt and John C. I had 46 ab's so I knew the reference wasn't about me.
I would not have blinked an eye if any one of you guys grabbed the title. Like John C.(free agent for the 35's) I thought it was a good way to break your proverbial chops. How bout those Vikings?

Good luck in the championship round(like you need it)
RC
