The Albany Marlins had a bad first day going 0-2 without really anyone hitting. We woke up Sunday morning by beating a Rome team 7-3 behind exceptional pitching of Jon Martin. The second game on Sunday was a thriller. We were down 4-0 most of the game when our bats woke up. Tom Sheperdson pitched for the 2nd straight day to keep us close. The Marlins had the bases loaded with one out in the seventh when we lined to second base and our runner got caught of second. Great job to the Rochester team. I had a blast and thank all the A's that helped us out (especially Ed Class), a few Yankees and a few Cubs (especially Jon Martin and Tom Sheperdson).
